Product Type Details

On this page you can edit product type details. You are also navigated to this page when you click New on the Product Typespage.

You can configure the following:

• Name: Enter the name of the product type (dairy, drinks, meat, and so on)

• Description

• Status: Determine whether the product type is active or inactive

• Max threshold: If applicable, enter the maximum threshold acceptable for the product type (such as the highest temperature at which the product type can be kept)

• Min threshold: If applicable, enter the minimum threshold acceptable for the product type (such as the lowest temperature at which the product type can be kept)

  You can set up rules and flagged conditions in telemetry data to address the issue when readings are above the maximum threshold or below the minimum threshold.
